Regular readers of my blog know Sunshade well. How could you not, her photos are all over my blog. Trust me, there are more to come. I don’t get the chance to blog one session before she has another. This is my feeble attempt to keep up.
Back in February, Sunshade, her grandpa, mom Elaine, and I met up one afternoon to take these photos. Sunshade’s grandpa lives in Taiwan and they don’t get to see each other as often as they would like. Since he was in town visiting, Elaine thought it was the perfect opportunity to document some memories of their little family. They have always placed high value on photographs. And they chose me as the photographer! I feel so honored to be entrusted by them to create this family heirloom.
Here are some of my favorites from that day!
The one on the bottom right has since been enlarged to quite a big size and now sits in Sunshade’s grandpa’s home in Taiwan :)
Showing us some mother-dogter love!
Here’s an interesting fact for you. These were studio photos taken (not by me) when Sunshade was just a wee pup. After our session in February, Elaine discovered that by pure coincidence, our session at the Olympic Village was taken on almost the exact same date as these studio ones almost 14 years ago! What are the chances of that happening?
