Vancouver Family Portraits at Haida House

This family portrait session is a very special one. Let me explain. This is a multi-generation family session. That’s right, you’re looking at three generations of men: Malcolm, Anpayo (son and uncle), and super adorable grandson Carter. It’s hard to believe because they are such a young family, but it’s true.

There’s another reason why this session is special. Location. Malcolm suggested having their photographs taken at Haida House right behind the Museum of Anthropology in Vancouver. I’ve never heard about this place, let alone been there, so I wasn’t too sure what to expect. I really liked the scene I saw when I arrived, but it became even more special when I learned that years ago, Malcolm actually helped mount the totem poles! How special is that?! A photo session at a location of sentimental value really speaks to my heart.

Thank you for a fun + laughter-filled afternoon, guys!
