Yes, We’re Rebranding!

If you were attentive enough, you may have noticed from my last post that my logo on the gift certificate shown was looking rather different. It looks like…well, whatever is at the top of this page now. I’m so ecstatic to announce that it’s our brand new logo!

Back in April, friend and talented graphic designer Cynthia of Cynthia Mark Graphic Design and I got together. Over tea and desserts (yes, that is plural because I have a super sweet tooth), we discussed my vision of Kathy Lui Photography and where I would like to see it going. Together, we came up with a way to help my branding better reflect my style and the work that I do: modern, clean, and fresh.

When I received the final logo, my fiancé J helped me with the next step. I know I’m truly blessed to be surrounded by such talented people.

J worked hard tirelessly on many evenings after work to help me design and code my website and blog. I’m loving everything! It’s all coming together nicely — we have a few more kinks to iron out on the main website and then it’s ready to be launched.

I must admit that this rebranding process has taken longer than I first anticipated, if only because I’m perhaps one of the pickiest people one could ever work with ;) Many thanks to both Cynthia and J for helping me through this stage of my business. You guys are awesome!
