Coal Harbour Engagement Session | Alysha and Young

Happy Tuesday, everyone!

Vancouver has been having some super awesome sun-filled days which makes for lots of photography opportunities. I actually don’t remember the last time we had so many warm sunny days consecutively, so you can bet that I’m making the most of all this! I love being able to walk around with my camera in hand, having nice conversations with my couples, and getting to know them a little more before their wedding day. It’s always a treat for me to be able to get a peek into their love story!

Meet Alysha and Young, one of my couples for this year’s wedding season. They are such a sweet + fun couple and were up for anything, which is always great. For their engagement session, they chose to have their shoot in Coal Harbour, where they had their first date and where they continue to go for frequent walks. A gorgeous day on a Friday evening after work hours…as you can imagine, it was chaotic with tons of people everywhere, but nonetheless, we managed it and I had an awesome time to boot, despite the fact that I was already full term with my pregnancy. Nine days later on a Sunday, Alysha and Young had their intimate wedding with huge plans for a bigger wedding next year. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for them!
