We’re well into 2015 now and I’m just getting the chance to post about my Christmas. J and I had out of town until earlier this week, so I have a bit of catch up to play.
We spent almost two weeks in Edmonton just relaxing and spending much needed quality time with family and friends. It had been two years since I’ve been back and even though I spent a few weeks in Asia with my family this year, it just never quite seems to be enough. With two other sisters and a brother, conversations never really end. Some nights, we stayed up until 3 am just chit chatting. Unfortunately, Jemma and Tofu had to stay behind in Vancouver for various reasons and my parents-in-law graciously offered to pet-sit them. I’m very grateful for their help this time and always.
J and I arrived early Christmas morning and the day was spent busy preparing for the big family gathering that evening. To give credit where credit is due, my sisters Celia, Jennifer, and her boyfriend Jeff did most of the work. They’re very skilled in the kitchen and all the food was absolutely delicious. Thanks once again, guys!
The whole group. We couldn’t resist a funny photo, but the “adults” were just not into it haha.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and I wish you a Happy New Year!
