Families and newborns. Newborns and families. Some of my favorite sessions to photograph. I took a little break from doing in-home sessions when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, but the inquiries kept coming in, and I felt a bit helpless and also bad for the parents who desperately wanted their love for their newborns documented.
As we know a little more about the virus now, and are aware of what precautions we should take to minimize risk of transmission, I’m happy to be able to book in-home sessions once again with strict COVID protocols in place. And parents are ecstatic they won’t miss those precious first memories at home with their new babe! I take my job as a lifestyle newborn and family photographer very seriously (and the virus too, of course), so please know that I am SO very grateful and honored that my clients choose me to capture their story at such an unprecedented time. Thank you for your trust.
Here is a recent newborn photography session I did in Vancouver. The setting was a very brightly lit home with lots of neutrals which is my absolute fave. Beige, white, grey, soft pink? Yes, please!! Baby was patient and an absolute rock star for us.
I love being able to freeze these sweet precious moments for parents to look back on for years to come. The newborn stage is fleeting and having tangible memories is important.
I am now booking into April with some spots left in March still, so if you would like to chat about your vision for your own photography session whether it be newborn photos, outdoor family photos, or an engagement session, don’t hesitate to get in touch with me! I’m all ears.
